About Texas Renaissance Festival
The Texas Renaissance Festival is the largest renaissance festival in the United States, attracting over half a million visitors annually to its 55-acre site in Todd Mission. Running for nine themed weekends each fall, it features over 400 shops, 200 performers, jousting tournaments, and a full-scale replica of a 16th-century English village. The festival has been operating since 1974 and is a cornerstone of Texas cultural entertainment.
